  • Each artwork must be for sale.
  • Each artist can only enter a maximum of four artworks.
  • Each artwork must have been created within 24 months of the closing date. Prior submissions will not be accepted.

  • Entries are open from Friday 21 September until Friday 20 October, 5pm
  • No variation to the sale price of artwork will be accepted after entry submitted.

CONDITIONS OF EXHIBITION

Maximum artwork size is 150 centimetres on any given side (artworks that exceed this size will not be selected). Sculpture must be movable by hand unless otherwise arranged with the APC Art Show in writing. Artwork MUST be measured edge to edge of any frame size.
    • Art works will only be considered if they are submitted by the closing date.
    • Artists accept responsibility for freight and other charges incurred in the delivery or return of an entry.
    • Accepted art works must be delivered to the Art Show venue during the dates and times set aside for delivery. No late works will be displayed.

INSURANCE

Albert Park College accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to any artwork.

  • The Artist is responsible for obtaining their own insurance.

FEES AND COMMISSION

Applicants pay a non-refundable entry fee of $40 (to enter up to four artworks).

A 30% Percentage commission is levied on any sales.

All artwork sales at Albert Park College Art Show will include GST in the sale price. The 30% commission is calculated on the Ex. GST price.
Please note that sales made by artists who are NOT registered for GST will have their payment reduced to cover the GST component of the sale.
For example, an artist who is NOT registered for GST lists their artwork with a sale price $1000. This is treated as the inc.GST price. When the artwork is sold at the Art Show, the 70% artist payment is reduced to 63.63% to cover the GST component. The final amount the artist will receive is $636.30.

SELECTION OF ARTWORKS

  • APC Art Show is a selection entry art show.
  • Our Selection Panel reviews all entries and accepts a limited number of entries for exhibition.
  • You will be notified by email the result of the selection process.
