For over a decade, the Albert Park College Art Show has showcased professional, emerging and student artists from around Victoria right here in the City of Port Phillip.

Visitors are invited to the APC Arts Campus to experience this wonderful show for themselves and perhaps take home a treasure.

The works for sale have been selected by a panel of artists and the art show has established a reputation for excellence with artists and collectors alike. The 2023 exhibition consists of artworks across a range of mediums including drawing, painting, printmaking, digitally created artworks, photography and sculpture. 

Entry is free on Saturday and Sunday.

The Art Show’s Gala Opening Night is always a hit with locals and art aficionados alike and a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the creativity in our community and from further afield.

We are extremely excited to announce our Live Auction item for this year’s Gala Night is a work generously donated by renowned artist, Lewis Miller. 

Miller’s stellar career includes such notable achievements as winning the Archibald Prize, the Rick Amor Self Portrait Prize and the Hugh Ramsay Portrait Prize.

He was appointed Official War Artist to the Conflict in Iraq in 2003, and is known internationally for his figurative painting and portraiture, including subjects, scientist James D Watson, Sir Edmund Hilary and our own AFL legend Ronald Dale Barassi AM, (for which he won the 2000 Sporting Portrait Prize).

Miller’s work is represented in private and public collections in Australia and overseas, including the National Gallery of Australia, Art Gallery of New South Wales, National Gallery of Victoria, Australian War Memorial, National Portrait Gallery Canberra, Auckland War Memorial Museum, Karolyi Foundation Vence, France Bibliotheque Nationale de France and the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in New York.

This is a unique opportunity to win a work by one of Australia’s foremost artists and support Albert Park College in the process. You must be at the Gala Night to bid. Good luck!
